Jeffrey Lee Becker, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Abilene, Texas.

He was born on February 4, 1958 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Gerald Becker and Margaret "Peggy" Yough. Jeff attended Permian high school in Odessa, Texas for three years before returning to Springfield, Ohio to graduate high school in 1976. Jeff married Nancy (Diehl) Becker on February 24, 1994. They resided in Texas for 10 years before moving the family to Jeff's hometown of Mount Vernon, Ohio. Jeff had a 30 year career in industrial services for the oil and gas industry. Jeff was very proud to be the third generation Cooper Cameron employee, often working off the design drawings signed by his grandfather.

Jeff was very dedicated to providing for his family and full of love. He enjoyed the simple pleasures that nature offered including: fishing, searching for arrowheads, and using his metal detector to find unexpected treasures.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Margaret "Peggy" Yough and husband Cloyd of Mt.Vernon, Ohio; his wife, Nancy Becker of Abilene, Texas; daughters Nicole Stein and husband Taylor of Edmond, Oklahoma, Alyssa Sehlhorst and husband Brandon of Toledo, Ohio, and Kylie Taylor of Abilene, Texas. He also had five beautiful grandchildren; Lucas and Bailey Taylor, and Reid, Brooklyn, and Chandler Stein. Sister; Laurie Kirkpatrick and Husband Matt of Mt.Vernon, Ohio, brothers; Dr. Michael Yough and wife Andrea of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Brian Yough of Mt.Vernon, Ohio. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Becker and grandparents, Owen and Ruth Barncord, and Fred and Lulu Becker.

Services will be held at Flowers- Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mt.Vernon, Ohio at 11 am on Monday, March 19, 2018. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

Pallbearers will be Evan Yough, Matt Kirkpatrick, Pat Yoakum, Scott Daughin, Eddy Brown and Vic Campanelli. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Yough and Brian Yough.

Jeff was a member of Journey church in Howard, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Journey Church Building Fund at PO Box 93, Howard, OH. 43028.
