Armandina Castellanos, 64, of Merkel, Texas passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. Armandina was born January 9, 1954 in Ciudad Acuna Coahila Mexico, to Pedro and Eliodora Morales. She worked at Walls Factory outlet from 1990-1995. She was then a homemaker, where she spent a lot of time with her grandkids. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting, tending to her plants and spending time with her family. On May 6, 1971, she married her lifelong companion Gregorio Castellanos, who she loved dearly and was with him for 47 years. They had three daughters of who she was very proud of. She is survived by her husband, Gregorio Castellanos of Merkel, Texas. Daughters Yoli Grimes and her husband James of Abilene, Texas; and Maricruz Ramirez and her husband Lino of Merkel, Texas. Five grandchildren: Monica, Jazmine, Trey, Brittany, and T.J. As well as four great-grandchildren: Gracie, Conner, Kayden, and McKinley. Her mother Eliodora Morales, Brothers Fernando Morales of Acuna, Mexico; Rafael Morales of Abilene, Texas; Pedro Morales Jr. of Midland, Texas; Eriberto Morales of New Mexico, and Mario Morales of Acuna, Mexico. Sisters Ortencia Morales and Rosalinda Morales both of Acuna, Mexico; and Mary Morales of Bowie, Texas. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father Pedro Morales, sister Margarita Leyva, and daughter Gracie Rojas. Funeral services are under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
