Barbara Pulliam
Barbara Pulliam, 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Starbuck Funeral Home, 201 Edwards, Merkel, Texas. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Locke and Todd Brown officiating. Burial will be in Tye Cemetery.
Barbara was born March 4, 1934 in Fairfield, Illinois to Mariom and Myrtle (Moore) Atteberry. She married James F. Pulliam on February 3, 1951, and the couple had three children. She was a homemaker and served faithfully as a pastor’s wife from 1967 to 2008. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Tye.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and her parents.
She is survived by three children, Debbie Locke and husband Tommy of Tye; Paula Brown and husband Todd of Lubbock; and Mike Pulliam of Tye; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
