Robert F. “Bob” Reed, 87, Passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017.
Bob was born October, 11, 1929 in Dighton, Massachusetts to Arthur l. and Ellen E. Reed.
Bob was extremely proud of his military service. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service.
Bob is survived by his wife Patsie (Mansker) Reed of 21 years; his children Paul D. Reed, Gayle Marie Reed Roath, and Roger A. Reed; his step-children Jerry Mansker, David Mansker, Linda Johnston, and Sandra Baird; siblings William H. Reed, Margaret J. Reed, Anna E. Reed, Ellen E. Reed, and John T. Reed. Bob is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.
Bob is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Jo Reed after 26 years of marriage and by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Starbuck Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Merkel, Texas.
