Stacie Lynn Davis, 41, died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her home. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23rd at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Gill officiating, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Stacie was born December 4, 1974 in Big Spring, TX to Floyd Alton and Vickie Lynn (Harrison) Davis. She attended school at Tye and Merkel High School. Stacie was a Texas Department of Criminal Justice Correctional Officer and was a member of the Tye Volunteer Fire Department for many years. A proud woman born to love, she gave her children all she had and some she didn’t. Stacie was strong in the fight till the end. We wait with heavy hearts for the day that on streets of gold we see her again.
Survivors include son, Chance Thornburg of Merkel; daughter, Lacie Davis and husband Brytton Flores of Merkel; mother, Vickie Kemp and husband James of McCauley; father, Floyd “Dink” Davis of Tye; sisters, Amanda Lerma and husband Matthew of Merkel, Kellie Reed and husband Thomas of Tye; brother, Jacob Shay Davis of McCauley; grandson, Domanic Flores-Davis of Merkel; soon to be granddaughter, Stacie Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Truman and Lynn Harrison and Rink and Sue Davis; and aunts, Ronda Drew and Amy Drew.
